i loved this i read this through my bff's it is about to identical twins that trade places at school and have to whole different perspectives on life! One is very popular and the other just kinda hangs in her shadow nerdy and smart! I love it to death. This relates to two of my best friends Trinit and Jordan but they both are smart and beautiful and un-nerdy in every way!!!

I'm currently reading Trading Faces by Julia DeVillers an Jennifer Roy. What's really cool is that the authors are actually twins. So far the story is in chronological order. I recommend this book to people who like realistic fiction. I give it 5 stars!

Well, Payton and Emma did. Emma and Payton mills were both twins, at the age 12. They were both just about to start the seventh grade at a new school. Payton was a girl who just liked the attention, being popular, and hanging out with with one of the cool popular girls. Payton was tall as five feet, had light brown shining hair, and her eyes were as green as a leaf, and her hair was loose. Emma on the other hand was a studious girl who liked to keep stuff for herself meaning she wasn't really social or exited about meeting others. She was an honors student, she was academically smart and was usually head of the class. She was shorter than Payton by one centimeter had shorter hair with a pony tail. She usually used sweat pants and comfortable tops. Payton usually used on lip gloss and had uncomfortable clothes but they were always in style. Both sisters were just totally different. In the first day at the cafeteria Payton had her first lunch at that school. She had met these girls she thought were cool. Sydney, Quinn, and Rachel. they sat at a table of four and invited Payton to their table because of her cool attitude and style. Payton had gotten her school lunch, a gross tasting and looking burrito. She had gotten her lunch and gone to the table she sat at. Sydney, Quinn, and Rachel looked at Payton as she was eating her burrito. "ewe thats gross" chuckled Sydney. Every one at the table was giggling and snickering. Payton was so humiliated and embarrassed. From so nervous that she was, the burrito sat on the fork and as she hit her hand on the other side of the fork the burrito just flung. It landed on Ox a boy in the seventh grade that was the captain of the football team, the most cutest guy that Sydney laid eyes on. Payton was too embarrassed to notice that she just ran off, to the janitors closet where she was going to text her sister Emma. As soon as Emma was dismissed from class she ran off to the janitors closet to find Payton. "It was too embarrassing you should have seen the smirk on Sydney's face and her friends laughing so hard" said Payton. Emma looked at Payton crying miserably . "okay u take my clothes and i put on your clothes you will pretend to be me and i will pretend to be you okay i will fix and clear things up" said Emma. They had been like that for the school time and then Emma and Payton came home as their selves. The very next day Emma came in as Payton. And Payton as Emma. Emma as Payton came in class so confident, as soon as Sydney showed up Emma recognized her. Sydney had apologized for the giggling and making Payton feel under pressure. Emma as Payton accepted the apologize and then Sydney had told Emma as Payton that if they can go shopping. Emma text-ed Payton if she wanted to go shopping after school and had Payton said yes. Payton as Emma came in the classroom and was a bit talkative with others, others from her class looked at Payton as Emma awkwardly, usually because Emma does not talk much. Emma had to go to h.s.s (honorable students class)after school where she would do casting and gather information on the special events going to be present at school. And Payton had to be at the mall with her friends shopping, but their schedules got mixed up and then both ended up at each others event and they soon got caught because of the mix up. The very next day that happened, they learned their lesson and also received detention. The good part of it was that they got to cast from what happened during the first two days they switched. I personally like this book because it had a lot of some things that i relate to and also i actually learned a bit more about my self from reading this book. I learned to admire others but also not get too deep into admiring others and pretending to be someone else that your not because you just aren't that person. i learned that being me is unique from others so thats what i have learned. I recommend this book to my friends and my little sister so they can learn about being their selves instead of pretending to be others. I think the author wrote this book to entertain and also to reflect upon what she went through with her sister at the time she was in the seventh grade.

I really liked this book!!! It is my favorite type of genre...REALISTIC FICTION!!! Also, one of the main characters, Payton, is just like me in the sense that we are both girly and fun to be around! I also like how it relates my life in school. The theme of this book is to be yourself, and to not care about what anyone else thinks about you. Embarrassing times for the twins include being secretly videotaped, being someone their not and people finding out, and ruining their personal image in front of the whole school. I have read many books similar to this because my favorite books, including this one, are very interesting and "my type of book." Also, there are many school drama and kids personal experiences books that I have read, such as the book called "Take Two" by the same amazing author, Julia DeVillers!

It was really good. You would think it would be a little too cheesy because of the cover picture. It's not at all cheesy! It is really good! I finished it in two days, because I wanted to keep reading and reading.....! This book is about two twin girls. One is a brainiac, and the other is a fashionista! They are having a rough time in school with the friends that they have so they decide to switch places, in a janitors closet. It's easy being each other at the start, but things start to get tough. They keep being each other with no one suspecting a thing, until they do a live broadcast in front of the entire student body. At the end of the broadcast, they start yelling at eachother. They say stuff like, "You were a terrible me!" and "You messed it up!" The whole school now knows that Payton and Emma Mills are impostors of eachother. So with that said, here's my review on it! My favorite character was actually Payton! She was the fashionista, and she was the funny one! She didn't stress about things too much, and was really popular. The one thing I didn't like about her though was she didn't stick up for her sister when Sydney, the popular yet mean girl, said that she would be embarrassed if Emma was her sister. She should have said something to Sydney. Although, she didn't, Sydney and her were still friends. She is my favorite character, but I would think she would be a little more supportive of her sister! The ending of this book was good! After the whole school found out that they were switching places, they decided to apologize for what they had done on the school broadcast, VOGS. They were very sincere about their apology, and meant every word they said. That was very nice of them! Also at the end, Emma got a boyfriend. Let me explain: When Emma was Payton and Payton was Emma, Payton(Emma) discovered she liked this sensitive jock named Ox. (His real name is Garret, I think, or maybe that's his last name?) Anyway, she liked him, being smart like herself she was attracted to this smart sensitive guy. They talked about how oxen were treated badly in different countries, and how they are very brave. Well in the end after they apologize, Ox asks Emma out! She turns purple for a while, and says yes! That is one of the good parts in the book! This book was actually one of my favorites so far! It had me reading until the end!! I would recommend this to ANYONE AND EVERYONE!! It is a really nice book once you get in the hang of things. But I will warn you, the chapters are a little confusing! Besides that, this book is a REALLY GOOD BOOK!!!

Trading Faces is about the Mills identical twins, Emma and Payton, who are opposites. Emma is the "genius twin" and Payton is the "Dumb" twin. She doesn't like being separated from Payton in this huge school. All of what they know in this school, though, is changed when Payton "oozes Ox", who is a very popular jock. She freaks out and switched places with Emma, and then switched back when they get home. The two twins really liked being each other - Emma feels like she's in study hall all day long, and she LOVES being free of Jazmine James, her new nemisis. Payton loves being able to wear comfy if not cute clothes and not care about what she's wearing. She actually slept through the whole afternoon while being Emma, because the classes would be too hard. They decide to switch places for just one more day, and they will swith back at the very end of the day. However, things don't exactly work out like that. The school day goes fine, but then Emma is dragged along to go shopping at the mall with Sydney and Company(he nickname for Sydney, Cashmere, Priya, and Quinn) and Payton goes to the VOGS cast(the school TV). Emma has fun shopping with the group, and then she talks to Ox and feels a crush coming on. Then, when Emma and Payton arrive home, they agree to switch just for lunch and some time after school because Payton want to do a VOGS cast and Emma wants to spend time with Ox at the Pep Rally.

I just finished reading the book Trading Faces by Julia Dellivers. She also wrote another book similar to this one called Double Feature. They are both really exciting books to read. Mean while they are hanging out with each others friends, wearing each others clothes, and everything else each other would normally do. Everything is going just fine with the switch until they are busted, by the meanest girl in school. As soon as she found she raced to the principles office and reported them in. When Peyton and Emma's parents found out life was not going to go well for them. They were grounded, got their phones taken away and lots more but the worst is yet to come. Their parents said the had to do a live video in VOGS (a camera club at school)to apologize in front of the whole school. This was hard for Emma to do because she has stage fright, but they end up doing it anyway. My favorite part in this book was when they made the twin switch in the janitors closet, that was the most exciting park to me in the book! I really liked this book! It was exciting and just made you want to keep reading! I would recommend this book to ALL girls! :)

When Emma was switching places, she found somebody that she liked and it was interesting because she is being herself, but in Payton’s place. So it is very interesting because I want to know if the guy will like her if she finds out that she is not Payton. It has a lot of drama and gossip in this book because it’s in middle school. Since the Payton is really popular it was hard for them not to uncover their secret because they will get treated badly or embarrass themselves. i always await what would happen next for these two twins. In conclusion, I think that Trading Faces has been the best book I ever read.

After going to each other's classes and fixing mistakes they learn how much fun it is to be someone else. But after a small, teeny, tiny mishap everything goes wrong. I can't really connect with switching places or having a twin, but I can say I would love to do/have both! Overall this was a fantastic book- one of my new favorites! It really is a Good Read!

I recommend this book to people who like realistic fiction, because that’s the genre, or middle school girls.

I've asked my twin friends this and they both replied each other. "if I punch one of you, will the other one feel it?" This is definitely the worse question. Yeah sure, go ahead and punch me, whatever. Some people can be so dense! Anyway, the book goes through the lives of super smart Emma and fashionista Peyton. On the first day of school, Peyton has an embarrassing moment and has to switch with Emma.

What a fun read! I have to give three cheers to Julia DeVillers! This book is very well written. There were times I couldn't put it down. Who doesn't think a set of twins is a great storyline for a book? These two twins couldn't be more different, yet after switching places, they find they have more in common than originally thought. Although not the main story theme, I like the lessons they learn about each other in the end.

Well I started out thinking it wasn't the best book in the world, but as I kept reading I started to enjoy it more. Sometimes the girls got on my nerves by the way they thought and talked, but if you look past that it's really not a bad book. Sometimes I could tell when Julia DeVillers wrote a certain part (since she worked on it with her sister) by the way the writing style was. So this book was pretty good. Not the absolute best and not the worst.

They soon start switching more and more because one of the two always wants to avoid something, so the other twin does it for them. A little later in the book, Payton (acting as Emma) starts to do a live broadcast to the whole school with a few other students. Emma (acting as Payton) came in and they started fighting. The girls thought they were off stage, but they soon found out their camera man had turned to look at what was going on, and the whole school heard, and saw it live. Later on they had to apologize to everyone, and they ended up making more friends. I enjoyed reading this book, because it wasn't to hard, but it was a good read at the same time. I thought it was interesting that the 2 authors were twins also. It made it cool to think that the authors may have done something like that when they were younger, and that is how they found inspiration for this book. The theme of this book was that we don't have to be someone else to be happy, we can be ourselves and be even happier.

I think I'm over this book. I mean, I remember when I was in 7th grade and trying to get through life. We all face the problems these twins did. But my school years were years ago, even before the time of the invention of the smartphone. Plus, this book needs an update. It's got facts that seem too old-school to be true now. I don't think I should have bought this book in the first place, but I dealt with it anyways.

I loved Trading Faces for the simple reason of it was a great story that tells what true kindness truley is through Emma who gives up her social life to save her sisters. This book gives you a good picture of what middle school is like for some people. I would recommend this book to any middle schoolers who like drama.

The book is about two twins that just started jr high school. They are sad that they have no classes together. They can not stand their classes. What i liked about the book is that they eventually got used to not having any classes together.\ I recommend this book to my sister she loves fiction books.
